Holden and Hay has created a fashionable and eco friendly option to the weighted blanket. Studies have shown that there is a positive impact for weighted blankets. Helping those with ADD autism, PTSD, insomnia, and anxiety. The weighted blanket helps to regulate your mood and promote sleep by increasing serotonin and melatonin.  The holden and hay weighted blanket has a cute design and is much more cozy than other weighted blankets.

Each Holden and Hay blanket is filled with recycled shredded denim, and is covered in Italian merino wool. The printed designs were created to compliment anyones home. The interior of the weighted blanket provides a better solution to the plastic filling that usually occupies the interior of other blankets. The denim provides a soft filling that doesn’t toss around when you move. The recycled denim and is much more earth friendly than plastic filling.

The exterior of the weighted blanket is covered in shearling fleece and a premium Italian Merino wool blend. They decided to use these products because wool is a naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic, biodegradable, thermo-regulating, flame retardant and proven to increase sleep. The blankets are American made in a small factory in Colorado.   The blankets come in two different weights 15 and 20 lbs. The blankets are complete washable and come in six different patterns.

The weighted blanket is cozy and much more comfortable and eco friendly than the alternative blankets that are on the market. It is nice to have an option that is much more fun to cuddle with than the average weighted blanket.
