I’ll admit it, I find working out so boring. I have to force myself to do it every day and I spend most of the time watching the clock, counting down the minutes until I can stop. That’s why I was so excited to try out the Plankpad. The Plankpad combines working out with fun, interactive games that help build core strength. When I use the Plankpad, I’m more focused on beating my high score more than on how much time I have left in my workout.
The Plankpad can be used for planking, of course, but it also doubles as a balance board. In addition to seven fun games with three difficulty levels, I can do a 30-day challenge or timed workouts so I can make sure I’m working my core properly. All I had to do is download their free app and select what I wanted to do to get started. I was impressed at how clean and user-friendly the app was, it was much easier to navigate than other workout apps I've tried.
The wood on the Plankpad feels sturdy and the foam top makes it comfortable for arms to rest on and hands to grip. I loved that they included a mat to go underneath the board to protect my flooring. The Plankpad was so easy and fun to use, even my four-year-old got into it and was begging to use it all day. We can even connect it to our AppleTV if we don’t want to be staring down the whole time.
